What is the IRC?
Founded in 1988, the Indiana Relocation Council (IRC) promotes professional
similar growth and interaction of those involved with the relocation
of families transferred for business reasons. Members are given a unique
opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with others who share similar
job responsibilities in the relocation industry.
IRC is organized and run entirely by relocation professionals who volunteer
their time to conduct the business of the group. Meetings are the first
Thursday in March, June, September and December. Meetings include formal
presentations, and current concerns. In addition a tri-state conference
with the Ohio and Kentucky chapters is planned each year. Some program
topics include spousal assistance, how relocation affects the teenager,
group moves, lump sum versus relocation packages, and teamwork for successful
relocation results.
